How do hotels improve guest relations and their bottom line?

How can hotels let their guests know about everything they have to offer? Previously, one could access much of that information by turning on the television in their room and taking a quick glance at the hotel's own channel. Now located in lobbies and hallways, these signs can display a wealth of information not previously accessible on a hotel television. In addition to offering a complete interactive map of the building itself, they also offer a list of services and amenities, as well as a schedule of events. Guests who wish to learn more about the surrounding area could use digital display signs to access local travel information as well as crucial weather forecasts.

There are many potential implementations in a medium to large property:

• Automated concierge via interactive kiosks in the main lobby and perhaps on each floor.
• Advertising key events and entertainment, or restaurant and bar specials on screens in high traffic areas like the elevator lobbies—or even in the elevator itself.
